Hummingbird Moth

Last summer my wife and I were enjoying a plesant afternoon overseeing out gardens when we spotted what appeared to be a baby hummingbird.  It was smaller than any other hummingbirds I have ever seen, and almost looked like a big bumble bee!  I told my wife it was a bumble-bird!

Later that afternoon, I decided to do an internet search to see if I could find any information on what we had seen.  The results of that search led me to the following URL:  www.hummingbirdmoth.com.
